Melis & Yaren are a pioneering female DJ duo based in Istanbul, known for bringing a fresh and powerful female perspective to the Afro, Latin, and Arabic house scene. Yaren has been DJing since 2021, and Melis joined the scene in 2023 — together, they quickly made a name for themselves. Their 2023–2024 season turned into a nationwide tour, captivating thousands across Turkey. They rose to prominence with their Turkish Afro remixes, one of which has reached nearly 5 million views on YouTube. Beyond DJing, they produce their own music and incorporate live instruments into their sets, adding originality and energy to every performance.
